Yesterday we made a trip out to Pisa to visit the leaning tower. Oh boy is it leaning! I can't imagine what will happen when it falls over. We wanted to go inside, but the tickets sell out apparently 16 days before. At least we saw it though. Somehow we arrived at the train station just as a train was leaving for Pisa Centrale (which happened to be the correct Pisa station luckily since there were several Pisa stations).
So then we saw the tower and walked around. Somehow a taxi showed up and we made it back to the train station just as another train was leaving to Florence and again, somehow he miraculously got the correct train station to get us back to Florence. After that we did some shopping. The stores were closing so we hurried over to H&M. I got a blue pleated shirt and a feather necklace. I really love that store. I wish there was one in Utah (or that their online store was better).
We ate dinner at this place called Giovanni. They had really good mussels. We ate some gnocchi, asparagus, tortellini, and this strange orange dessert.

Best thing we ate in Italy though was this little breaded rice bowl that had a meatball type thing in the center. It was at a little deli café called Ristoro. (I have since learned that they are called Aracini) Little couple managing the store was so cute! His wife would be like, “Stop! I have to help the customers!” and he’d be chasing her around the café saying, “Oh, but I love you! I want to kiss you my love.” He kept hugging her and kissing her on the cheek. Then she'd be like, “Stop it you loony old man.” and he’d say, “Oh but my Queen, I have to lavish you and love you.” It was so cute. I love little old couple who are still so in love.
Right now we're on the train to Germany. It went through the Austrian countryside, which is so beautiful. The mountains in the wine country are gorgeous. Everything is so green here. We even saw an amazing waterfall. Everything looks like it's from a fairytale and the vineyards are huge.
